single purpose in mind: to improve sea, air and space navigation methods and
safety. The "Grand ole Man of Navigation" committed much of his life to
simplifying techniques, and inventing and adapting new, accurate and
time-saving inventions. The precise measurement of time has been central to
the progress of navigation throughout navigation history. In 1937, Captain
Weems invented the Second Setting Watch to help aviators plot their courses

The Anniversary Barometer
The Anniversary Barometer houses a highly reliable and
accurate double diaphragm German aneroid movement that is visible through
the open dial. It displays both of the barometric scales, inches of mercury
and millibars. The movement is temperature compensated and calibrated for
altitudes up to 3500 feet above sea level. Wt: 7 lbs 2.5 oz.

The Anniversary Quartz Ship's Bell Clock
This clock houses our best German quartz ship’s bell
movement that uses one AA battery and therefore does not require winding. It
also includes a bell silencer switch. Wt: 6 lbs 14 oz.
