Sea Eagle SailCat 14sc
"BREAKTHROUGH FAMILY SAILBOAT IS ROCK-SOLID, FEATHER-LIGHT &
MAKES SAILING DOWNRIGHT SIMPLE!"
The TROUBLE with ordinary catamaran sailboats…
A catamaran is a great sailboat design: twin
hulls make a sailboat strong and stable. But
ordinary, HARD-HULL catamarans have significant
drawbacks:
- Trailering required
- Maintenance required
- Storage space required
- Complicated rigging difficult to master
- Initial cost — 6 times what a SailCat costs!
- Ongoing cost — trailer & license, storage,
maintenance

The entire boat

Easy to launch – even for kids!
The Sea Eagle SailCat 14sc Sail Boat & Fishing Boat
Now…EVEN FIRST-TIMERS SLICE THE WAVES LIKE OLD SALTS!
SAILING is one of those sports that appears simple but which, in
reality, is deceptively complicated and difficult to master.
That’s why we created the Sea Eagle SeaCat 14sc — the first
inflatable sailboat that’s SIMPLE & FUN for
beginners and families to sail.
Super-simple Lateen Rig guarantees sailing success
Other catamaran sailboats’ rigging is a confusing web that no
beginner can hope to handle confidently or safely without years of
practice and expensive sailing lessons.
Unlike other catamaran designs, the Sea Eagle Sailcat 14sc uses a
Lateen Rig - the simplest and easiest to use sail rig design around.
Just two lines — one to raise the sail and one
to trim it — mean new sailors, even pre-teens, return from a day
on the waves with smiles on their faces.
Exclusive FOLDING FRAME means NO TRAILERING & LIGHTNING-FAST rigging
The Sea Eagle Sailcat 14sc packs neatly in two bags that fit easily
in your car trunk so there’s no trailer hassle or expense and no waiting
in line at a boat launch.
Simply unpack and unroll the Sea Eagle Sailcat 14sc, inflate it, and
go sailing. You’ll go from your car trunk to out
on the water in under 12 minutes.
Sea Eagle’s revolutionary patent-pending FOLDING FRAME makes it
possible.
Rugged but light aluminum slats and slide-in Underbars form an
ingenious, integrated frame. Simply unroll it and inflate it — as the
hulls inflate, air pressure clamps all components tightly together
making the SailCat rigid and tight as a drum.
Just 97 lbs. … but it’s all muscle
Tipping the scales at just 97 lbs. fully rigged, the SeaEagle Sailcat
14sc is easy to transport packed in its bags or even fully rigged. Its
trim weight and twin catamaran hulls make it sit high in the water which
reduces drag, making it a nimble and responsive
sailing craft that’s simple and fun to pilot.
But don’t let the low weight fool you; this is one rugged little
sailboat. You can SAIL ANYWHERE with confidence in the SailCat — rivers,
ponds, lakes, even in the ocean. The hulls are made of 1,000 denier
“crocodile hide” material, the same as we use in our high-performance
Sport Runabouts. The mast and all hardware are made of nautical-grade,
anodized aluminum — a highly specialized alloy that combines light
weight, tremendous strength, and high resistance to corrosion even from
salt water.
Maintenance Free — spend your time SAILING, not scrubbing
A light hosing at the end of the sailing season is about all the
maintenance your SeaEagle Sailcat 14sc will ever need. And unlike
fiberglass hulls that grow dull over time and require regular scrubbing
and touchups, the SailCat’s inflatable hulls keep their like-new good
looks for years and years…effortlessly.
You DON’T have to be a “serious sailor” to enjoy all the pleasures
of sailing!
Sailboats of the same size and class as the SailCat cost $12,000 and
more — a justifiable price, perhaps, for those deeply dedicated to
sailing. But what about those who want to try out sailing…or who sail
infrequently…or who otherwise can’t justify the expense of an ordinary
sailboat?
At 1/6 the price of comparable sailboats, the SeaEagle Sailcat 14sc
is an extraordinary value for the casual, first-time, or family sailor.
It’s an easy purchase to justify — not just because the price is low but
because you get more for your money than with any hard-hull boat: all
the fun of sailing with extra quality, convenience, portability, and
warranty protection. Plus, the SailCat comes 100% complete with twin 14
ft. hulls, bench seats, 45 sq. ft. of sail, lateen rigging, two nylon
carry bags, repair kit, and foot pump.
You won't find a better value
You could spend $12,000 or more for a 14' catamaran sailboat, but you
won't get the convenience, portability and ease of sailing that the Sea
Eagle Sailcat gives - for much less money.
Comes complete with
- 45 square foot sail with lateen rig
- Two Nylon carry bags
- Repair kit
- Foot Pump
Plus... A THREE YEAR WARRANTY
Our Sea Eagle boats are covered for a
full three years against manufacturer's defects ... from bow
to stern.
We can afford to offer this unprecedented two-part guarantee
because of Sea Eagles's 39 year experience in
designing and selling inflatable boats. They know their quality
products, and stand behind them.
