We will accept merchandise for
return that was purchased from Boat Owner's World, Inc. within 15 days
of receipt. See exception list below. The merchandise must be in new
and unused condition and in its original packaging. Used merchandise
cannot be returned. We do not accept returns via COD or billed to Boat
Owner's World, Inc. in any way. We do not refund shipping charges.
There is a a 20% restocking charge on all shipments. Some items
have different terms listed on their pages.
In all cases, before you return any goods, Boat Owner's World must be
contacted so that we may issue a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
Please note that an RA# number does not guarantee final disposition.
All items will be inspected by Boat Owner's World. Boat Owner's
World reserves the right to determine if a refund is granted or not.

Return requirements are:
- Any part that is
mounted (installed) on the boat is NOT returnable.
- Call us before you return the item. Our
number is 1-866-864-8480
- Please refer to your packing slip and our email confirmation for
return information.
- Pack the item securely in the original packaging.
- Enclose a copy of the original packing list with the item. If
you cannot send your packing list, please include your order number,
billing name, and address with the item.
- All products must be returned in original condition, in original
boxes, and with all paperwork, parts and
accessories.
- All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept
C.O.D. deliveries.
- For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured
Parcel Post for your return. Unless your packing slip directs you to
ship an item to a different address (and if so, follow such
directions).
- Mark on the box the Return Authorization Number
in bold print.
- You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally
used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned
product. You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a
result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
- We do not exchange propellers. Some manufacturers will exchange a prop for a
flat rate,
- We do not refund original shipping costs even
if
they were included in the original selling price they will be
deducted from the credit.
EXCEPTIONS: These items are NOT returnable:
1)
All purchases delivered by common carrier (truck shipments) such as
pedal boats, canoes, kayaks, fishing boats, trailers are NOT
returnable. If product arrives damaged they must be refused at door
and will be exchanged or if
damage is minor we will ship replacement parts.
2) Software is not returnable.
3) Any product that has been mounted
(installed). Examples but not limited to are Trailer Kits from
Trailex, Jack Plates,
Propellers, Tilt & Trim units etc. If you installed it on your boat
or dock it is not returnable for credit. Trailers are not returnable
under any conditions.
